Rosen Markov of Bulgaria is crazy. Some would call him hardcore. As founder of the nationalist “Party of Bulgarian Men” and “Forza Bulgaria”, he staunchly opposes Bulgarian TV broadcasting Turkish news and in 2009 he set himself on fire outside of the TV station in protest. (A policeman quickly put out the blaze.) Still unsatisfied with the programming, Rosen recently returned to the TV station and poured a jug of semen on the grounds because there are too many woman's shows on TV.
Markov - who had been working for weeks on his protest - said he was appalled by the lack of shows for men on Bulgaria's national channel based in Sofia. "It is absurd that men are thought so little of. This is a wake-up call to show that men are not cowed - we are alive and vital," Markov, who heads the Bulgarian Men's Party, said.
