Lashydrea Chalon Rucker was arrested this week after slamming her car into a woman on July 8 in Edmond, Okla. then fled the scene. According to police, Lashydrea was on her lunch break (and driving her supervisor's car) when she hit 34-year-old Jeannine Lea Cannon, who was catapulted onto the hood of the vehicle and thrown off. She then rolled down her window and said, "oops, my bad," and drove away. Jeannine suffered injury to her leg and hand, but was able to capture Lashydrea's license plate number. Police said Lashydrea came to the police department after they attempted to find her at her home. She said Jeannine told her that she was hurt, but she would be "OK." Lashydrea told police she thought that meant she could leave without having to worry about the incident. She was arrested and faces a complaint of leaving the scene of an accident causing a nonfatal injury.
