Hey, Neighbor? Can I Dump a Body in Your Trash? Thanks.

A 20-year-old man from Tacoma, Wash., who asked his neighbors for permission to dump a body in their trash Wednesday afternoon, was arrested that night and charged with suspicion of first-degree murder. According to police, the body of a 16-year-old boy, who had been shot in the head, was found in the trash. Detectives believe the victim and suspect knew each other but were investigating the connection and what led to the deadly shooting. After the man asked about disposing a body, his neighbors left the area and ran into members of the police gang unit, which was on an unrelated call a half-mile to mile away. The neighbors told the officers about the body. While investigating, the officers spotted the 20-year-old man coming out of the nearby triplex and took him into custody for questioning. He gave detectives several accounts of what happened.
