A 58-year-old woman from Houston, Texas is facing charges after police say she hit a boy with her car, tossed a religious pamphlet out of her window and drove away. According to the boy, Aida Hillen (not pictured) struck him as he crossed the street. He told police he was knocked to the ground by the impact and Aida briefly stopped, rolled down her window and asked if he was OK. When he told her "no," he said the woman tossed a Christian booklet at him and left the scene. One of the boy's schoolmates said he ran across the street and tried to flag the car down after the accident, but Aida just waved "bye" at him and kept driving. He scribbled down her license plate number and called police. The boy was transported to the hospital, treated and released, but was rushed back a few days later, when it was determined he had bruised ribs. Aida, who admitted to being in the area that day, but denied hitting anyone with her vehicle, was charged with failure to stop and render aid.
