Police arrested a woman after she stabbed another woman in the eye during an argument Thursday night in downtown Indianapolis. The fight occurred in the alley in the 1500 block of South Talbott Street after Dezirae Loftus, 21 got into an argument for unknown reasons and stabbed another woman. When police arrived on the scene, they found the woman suffering from multiple cuts from Loftus’ finger covers that had blades and cutting instruments on it, police reports stated. Loftus, who police say started the attack, was carrying her infant at the time and attempted to hit the other woman with her fist, but in order to, she threw her infant to the ground. The woman hit had multiple cuts to her face and body and was transferred to Wishard Hospital, police reports stated. A man who tried to break-up the fight also received a cut, but was treated at the scene. The infant who was thrown to the ground was also checked out on scene and didn’t suffer any injuries. Police arrested Loftus and she is being charged with battery.What the hell are "finger covers" adorned with blades?
