Man Throws French Fries at Daughter, Gets Charged With Assault With a Dangerous Weapon

A man from Lowell, Massachusetts was arrested last Friday after he threw hot French fries at his 11-year-old stepdaughter. According to police, 26-year-old James Hackett and his wife began arguing after leaving a McDonald’s. When his stepdaughter tried to get them to stop arguing, James threw the fries in her face. She was not injured. James' wife called police and James was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. He made bail, but was ordered to stay away from the girl.
