A 64-year-old granny's crime spree ended this week after she was arrested at a hospital in Tennessee. According to police, Margaret Max checked her as a patient at several hospitals throughout the Southeast then wandered the halls looking for things to steal. Her cache included gloves, gauze, syringes and morphine. Sticky finger granny faced charges of theft, but got a slap on the wrist: She was ordered to pay a fine and she's banned from stepping foot in Tennessee.
...Meanwhile, in Atlanta, a woman was sentenced to 10 years in prison after she was caught trying to steal a newborn baby from a hospital. Naquelle Ballard, 20, says she wanted to kidnap the baby because she suffered her depression after two miscarriages -- but mostly, she tried to kidnap the baby to keep boyfriend from leaving her. "I was in love with him and I felt like that was going to make him stay with me or I was going to keep him that way," she says. Obviously, she's not too bright to think no one would recognize she had a baby without being pregnant. And, the boyfriend left her anyway and hasn't contacted her. To get further insight into her craziness, take a look at her Twitter page.
