An 18-year-old Oklahoma City man was arrested after attempting to steal a $39.99 pair of women's shoes from Target on Monday. According to police, a store employee watched Sylas Schmiedel walked into the store barefoot and made a beeline to the shoe department. That employee then saw Sylas put on a pair of black and blue high-heeled sandals on his feet and walked to the restroom. A short time later, he left the restroom and proceeded to the exit, where he was confronted by the store employee. He told police he was taking the shoes because he needed them for a drag show. He was charged with shoplifting
