A man was arrested in Delray Beach this afternoon after he threatened another man riding a lawnmower with a machete. Police say a man who was cutting grass when he noticed Jose Rodas waving for him to come closer. The man said he steered the mower to get closer to Jose when he saw him pull a machete out of his jeans. The man on the lawnmower quickly drove away. Jose attempted to chase after him by riding a bicycle that was nearby, but soon fell over because he was too drunk. When cops arrived, they found Jose hiding in a nearby dorm room dressed only in his underwear. He was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest without violence.
