Couple Abandoned 3-Month-Old Baby at a McDonald's Because They Had Plans

Police have charged the parents of a three-month-old baby girl after they left the baby alone at a McDonald's restaurant in Elyria, Ohio on Friday night. Aaron Tate, 29, and Rachel Jaajaa, 22, have been charged with child endangering. According to police, Rachel was getting a ride with a co-worker after their shifts at McDonald's, when the baby's father, Aaron, showed up at the restaurant, carrying with him the baby in a car seat. That's when the two began arguing who should take the child. Rachel told Aaron she has plans and was was going out with friends and he needed to keep the baby. He then walked into the restaurant, left the car seat with the baby onto the floor and walked out. He got into his car and left the restaurant. Others in the restaurant called police. Police found Rachel and Aaron arguing in a Burger King parking lot. The baby is now in the care of Rachel's sister.
