Man Robs Subway Restaurant at Knife Point, Uses Stolen Cash to Buy Sandwich from Competitor
A man was charged after he robbed a Subway sandwich shop at knife point on April 27 and then crossed the street to buy a sandwich at Potbelly Sandwich Shop. 43-year-old Frederick Warren was charged with armed robbery. According to police, Frederick entered the sandwich shop with a knife and demanded cash just before 5pm. Authorities say they found him after the robbery at a nearby Potbelly -- which is one of Subway's competitor. Police say Frederick was still eating his Potbelly sandwich when they found him. During a search of his person, cops found $186 in cash and a silver-bladed folding knife.
