Student Who Claims to Be Disabled After Realizing College is Hard Sues University, Professor

Jennifer Burbella of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania is suing Misericordia University where she was a nursing student for more than $75,000 because she failed to pass a course twice -- and, according to her, it was entirely the university's fault! According to her lawyer, who filed the federal lawsuit recently, Jennifer failed the required course twice because of disabilities including anxiety, depression and stress. Because the professor failed to help Jennifer by giving her additional time to complete exams and didn't answer when Jennifer called upon him during a test, those actions by the professor caused Jennifer to fail the course -- twice. Wait, what now? College was stressing Jennifer out and she suffered from anxiety while taking exams? If that's the standard, then shouldn't ALL college students who fail courses be able to sue their professors and universities. College is hard. Nursing programs are especially difficult. Every college student is stressed out. Girl, good night!
