Laverne was a contestant on "I Want Work for Diddy". A show like "The Apprentice", but instead of Donald, the large cash prize and business-oriented tasks, Diddy had the contestants perform menial tasks, like taking lunch orders.
Laverne didn't win, although we were pulling for her. Miss Honey was giving you fashion every episode!
But alas, somebody has quit the waitressing job and is now working as a reporter. (Sidebar: When she used to work at "The Coffee Shop" in NYC she used to work those narrow aisles like a runway; none of those other "models" had anything on her. We used to eat the awful food just so we can stare at her.)
Did you really have to ask? Laverne wasn't actually born female.
