Demi Moore Tells Fan Not to Get Plastic Surgery to Look Like Her

Demi Moore has urged Lisa Connell, a terminally ill fan not to have plastic surgery to look like her.

Demi went to Twitter and tweeted this message to Lisa.

"Wish I could contact this woman Lisa Connell who wants to have surgery to look like me and encourage her to not to! She is a beautiful girl!"

Lisa has terminal cancer and had announced plans she was going to spend $60,000 on surgery in a bid to resemble her idol.

Lisa decided to have liposuction, a breast enhancement, an eyebrow lift and work on her skin and teeth shortly after she was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour in 2006.

She said: "People think I'm crazy for doing this, but I know it will make my last months or years happier. When I was young I used to watch Demi Moore in films like 'Ghost' and I longed to look like her. I want to die beautiful, so this is my way of taking back control of my body."

More on Demi:
On March 9, Demi collapsed while celebrating the Jewish holiday Purim at the Kabbalah Centre in Beverly Hills, possibly because she's overworked and lack proper nutrition. According to sources, Demi's diet is heavy on raw veggies and fruit - and she tries to fit in at least an hour of exercise every day.

"Demi looked dazed as she suddenly fell to the ground," revealed an eyewitness. "The collapse occurred as she and Ashton were leaving the centre after a party. It was as if someone pulled a rug out from under her, and when Demi's knees hit the ground, she let out a loud yelp. She couldn't seem to get up by herself. After Demi spent several seconds trying to get her bearings, Ashton, with help from a female bystander, rushed to get his wife on her feet. She clung to Ashton for balance, as she struggled to a nearby car. Ashton was very concerned. When they got into the back seat together, Demi sunk her face into Ashton's shoulder."

Not surprisingly, Ashton has told Demi to ease up on the heavy exercise and strict diet.
