Broadway Boys Compete in Beauty Pageant

While the rest of America was transfixed by the Miss USA pageant, some real queens were competing for a title, too.

Men from several shows (Billy Elliot, Hair, The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Wicked) went head-to-head in talent, swimsuit, and interview competitions in the Broadway Beauty Pageant from which a Mr Broadway was crowned. The annual even is to benefit the Ali Forney Center, which provides housing and other services for homeless gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual youth.

In the end, Anthony Hollock from Hair was crowned the winner.
