Girl Has 56 Stars Tattoed on Face After She Wanted 3

A Belgian teenager got the shock of her life when she asked for a few small stars tattoed on her face and woke up to find half her face was covered in them.

Kimberley Vlaeminck, 18, is now suing, Rouslan Toumaniantz, the tattoo artist who she claims went way beyond what she had asked for.

She claims she asked for three stars, but that might have been lost in translation.

"I think he didn’t understand what I wanted. He spoke only fractured English and French. But I explicitly said in my native tongue, French, and also in a little bit of English when he looked confused, that I wanted three little stars only near my left eye," she said.

To further add to the mystery, Kimberley said she fell asleep, which is hard to believe in any stretch of the imagination.

Rouslan, who is Romanian, says Kimberley was awake and actually looked in the mirror several times during the procedure to see how it was going. Plus, she was happy with the tattoo after he was done. It was only after she went home to her father when the tattoo suddenly became a problem.

She is suing for damages and the cost to have the tattoos removed. Rouslan has offered to pay for half.

She's a liar, and the tattoo artist is a good one for even offering pay half. I wouldn't pay anything! It doesn't take a genius to know not to fall asleep in strange places.

Toumanaintz needs to protect himself. A lesson for all of us on being professional. I read somewhere that Toumanaintz will from now on only do tattoos after clients sign a consent form! A little too late eh?

Not only does Toumanaintz need written consent, he needs the client to "sign off" -approving a design the way we do it in the graphic design industry! We sign off before we send it to the printer who runs 10000's of copies and there's no turning back from there...

There are some sites online where you can scope a tattoo in just about any "genre"! This is the best I've seen.

Pretty edgy stuff. You can just look for the one you like, print it out, and show it to the tattoo artist no matter what language they speak!

What kind of narcotic to you have to be on to fall asleep while needles are applied to your face numerous times?
