According to Roger Friedman over at Showbiz 411, Michael Jackson's funeral is set for Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. AEG Live, which was planning his London comeback shows, owns the Staples center and Nokia Theatre and will be having a hand in the funeral ceremonies.
Additionally, video screens will be provided for the millions of people who don't make it inside.
Radaronline is reporting that this event will be a memorial service and those who wish to attend will have to pay $25 to sit in the stadium's stands. (Only family, friends and VIPs will have seats on the main floor.)
The memorial service will feel like a concert production featuring guest speakers. Elizabeth Taylor and Diana Ross are expected to attend.
T-shirts that were going to be sold on Michael’s upcoming “This Is It” tour will not go to waste… They will be sold outside Staples to people entering the service.
