If you ever dreamed of living in a well-appointed NYC apartment without having to fork over thousands of dollars for rent, we told you about a contest earlier this summer where you could do just that.
Daffy's, the discount clothing and housewares chain who was behind the contest to rent a $7,000-a-month apartment for a mere $700, has narrowed down the entries to five finalists and it's up to you to pick the winner.
But, in the spirit of good, old-fashioned fun, the company has released a mash-up of some of the losers. Some of whom -- like the homeless people, or the ones living rat-infested apartments -- really needed this space. Bummer.
