Picture it! Sometime in the future, Madonna and Janet performing the same song on the same stage -- together!
According to the Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper, that's in the works.
The paper's spy says Janet and Madonna had a secret dinner after last Sunday's VMAs, where Madonna gave a speech about how similar Michael's life was to hers and Janet performed "Scream", the song she recorded with Michael.
During the dinner they were overheard discussing how to honor Michael by "doing something together."
"It was a meeting of two great musical minds. Madonna was so impressed with Janet's tribute to Michael that they started talking about how great it would be to honor him by doing something together," a source said. "With that one performance Janet proved she's back on top of her game. And who better to join forces with than Madonna? There was definitely something very interesting being planned between them."
Should this turn out to be true, it will be something. The kids will literally have a heart attack and die.
