She Was Born to Walk

Last night on "America's Next Top Model" Tyra introduced an alter ego - Super SMIZE. She's a fierce supermodel who defeats mortals (and mere models) by 'smiling with her eyes'. It's utterly ridiculous, but we adore Tyra, so we're torn.

By the end of the program two models were sent home: one because she lacked personality and the other because she couldn't perfect the "SMIZE". As the credits rolled, however, there was a preview of what's coming up next week. The girls will take part in their first fashion show and Davanna, a 9-year-old supermodel, will be teaching them how to walk. Don't think she has the chops? Check her out below.

I just came across this and was disturbed and disgusted. Every move that this CHILD is making... the way she walks and carries her self down the run way reminded me of a true drag queen show. Which led me to believe that's whats influencing her in her life.... wow... to be so young and exposed to tings i am sure she doesn't understand and definitely does not need to know about at that age.

There is no way in the world I would think that a good, loving, caring, NOT FOR PROFIT, mother would allow her daughter, her CHILD to walk around sashaying herself, parading up and down for god knows who.

John Benet Ramsey is all I could think about.

If you make your child into a miniature grown woman. A grown man with a miniature mind will want to be with her.
why would you want your child paraded like a prostitute looking for the highest bidder.

It's really distrubing to see things like this. She should not be exposed like this in any way. And if you think that was bad, did you see the video where she was in a fashion show, modeling a bodysuit? Can you imagine all the pervs that see things like this?

I thoroughly enjoyed Davonna's performance. I saw this yesterday and was shouting "Diva Davonna" in my head all day today. Davonna seems to be a natural and looks like she really enjoys what she does. I didn't get the feeling that she was being pushed at all.

Diva Davanna is a young girl who absolutely loves to walk the runway! She is certainly not forced to do so against her will. Some people are unable to notice talent when they see it.

She is also surrounded by people who support and protect her since she is actually quite shy and spends most of her time being a kid.

The world is not made up entirely of perverts and predators. Negative visions are certainly not presented to this little diva.
