Muslims Can Party With Black Eyed Peas, But Still Can't Drink

Last week we told you about Muslims being barred from attending a Black Eyed Peas concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Well, the government has had a change of heart.

Officials had imposed the ban because the show is being sponsored by Irish beer giant Guinness.

A culture ministry official said the ban was lifted late last week but did not give any further details as to why.

Government regulations forbid alcohol firms from organizing public concerts, but the Black Eyed Peas gig had been allowed in order to boost tourism.

As part of the deal, Guinness will not be allowed to sell its beer at the concert or use its logo in publicity material.
