Woman Arrested for Stealing Money From Parked Car at a POLICE STATION!
Police say Sophia Paulinyce, 19, stole $7 in change from a police employee's vehicle that was parked in a secure lot at a Fort Pierce, Fla. police station last month.
The police report said Sophia told a detective she was thirsty, noticed an unlocked car and grabbed (read: stole) some change for the soda machine.
Before she was walked to a jail cell (it was yards away), she asked to write a letter of apology addressed to the employee whose money she tried to steal.
She was charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor larceny.
