KO'd! Mike Tyson Arrested After Punching Photographer in the Face

Former heavyweight boxing champion of the worrrrlllllddddd Mike Tyson has been arrested for punching a paparazzo in the face at Los Angeles International Airport last night.

According to police, Mike had stopped at LAX while traveling from Europe to Las Vegas when several photographers began snapping him near a ticket counter. Tony Echevarria, the unlucky photographer who met Mike's fist, allegedly followed the former boxer into the restroom; the two got into a heated argument, and Mike punched him four punches in the face causing blood to pour on the airport's floor.

He was rushed to the hospital and treated for a cut to his forehead.

Both Mike and the photographer were arrested on suspicion of battery; they each want to file charges against each other.

Mike's spokeswoman Tammy Brook said the boxer was traveling with his wife and 10-month-old child when he was attacked by an overly aggressive paparazzo. "Mike acted in self defense as a father protecting his child," she said.

Last month Mike appeared on Oprah and talked about being a changed man and his anger issues.

This arrest could land Mike in prison for about 2 1/2 years. Back in 2007 he was convicted of felony cocaine possession and misdemeanor DUI in Arizona. He was placed on three years probation. Mike's arrest can be deemed a parole violation and he can be sent to prison.
