Wendy's TV Show Renewed

Good news for you viewers of Wendy's TV show: Fox has renewed the queen's daytime talk show through to the 2011-2012 season.

"There was no question that we wanted to renew The Wendy Williams Show given what we've seen thus far in both content and ratings. We anticipate even further growth as the show continues to emerge as a key building block, and Wendy as a key personality, of our daytime landscape," Frank Cicha, Fox's senior VP of programming, said in a statement.

Despite what's been reported, the show's ratings have improved 23%, according to producers.

Fox has only renewed the show on stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia and Dallas. Producers say other markets are to follow.

I'm so happy it's been picked up for two more seasons! Even though I liked her radio show more, I also love her tv show. I hope she starts acting like she use to during hot topics in the six week sneak peek.
