What the eff is going on with former baseball player Sammy Sosa's skin? Is he now seeing one of the Jackson family's dermatologists?
At the Latin Grammy's last week in Vegas, Sammy was looking pale. OK, he looks several shades lighter than the photo on the left that was taken a few months back -- in May!
Some are wondering if he's been bleaching his skin to suit his new colored eyes or is he suffering from vitiligo brought on by years of abusing steroids?
No, Sammy says. His new, lighter complexion is as a result of a new skin regimen and, oh, bad lighting.
"He is going through a rejuvenation process for his skin," Rebecca Polihronis, the former Cubs communications manager and friend of Sammy told the Chicago Tribune. "Women have it all of the time. He was surprised he came out looking so white. I thought it was a body double. Part of (the photo appearance) is just the lighting....He was doing a dermatological skin process after years and years (of playing baseball) in the sun. It did come out looking weird (in the picture)."
Riiiiigggghhhht. Rejuvenating "dermatological skin process," eh?
All we can say is: "Dem a bleach / dem a bleach out dem skin / dem a bleach fi look like a brownin'"

Sammy would have been a lot better off sticking with his natural skin color. I hope for his sake that it comes back
took the words right outta my mouth. the lighter version is awful
He looks terrible, but in some peoples eyes being black is the worst thing ever. I'm not trying to make a broad statement, but most Hispanics do not embrace their African heritage. They will claim everything else, but not black. so very sad.
