We all knew this was going to happen sooner than later.
After all the cheating, fighting and, yes, the child with the jumpoff, Tina Knowles has filed for divorce from Mathew.
According to the folks over at RadarOnline, the divorce petition says: "The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities ... that destroys the legitimate relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation."
They were married for 29 years and have not lived in the same household since January.
They issued this joint statement to the AP: "The decision to end our marriage is an amicable one. We remain friends, parents, and business partners. If anyone is expecting an ugly messy fight, they will be sadly disappointed. We ask for your respect of our privacy as we handle this matter."
Rumors that they have been separated began circulating last summer.
In other divorce news: Ivana Trump filed for divorce from Italian entrepreneur Rossano Rubicondi this afternoon in New York. The two were married in April 2008, but separated months later. We swear she filed for divorce last December, too. Guess they rekindled their, alleged, business relationship, or maybe a divorce filing is their annual Christmas tradition. How special.
