Freso, Calif. police say 11-year-old Jose Silva Covarrubias is responsible for causing a deadly crash that killed three people and seriously injured another. According to this KMPH News report, the boy failed to stop at a stop sign and hit a truck. Jose Silva, his 6-year old sister, Elizabeth and their mother, 30-year old Maria Covarrubias were killed. Police are asking why was an 11-year-old driving a car? We would like to ask, though, why would a mother allow an 11-year-old child to drive a car?
