There have been much speculation as to what happened that night Tiger and wife Elin went nightclubbing. Well, these tapes from the Florida Highway Patrol may answer some questions. (But, not really.) According to the officer on the scene, Tiger was not drunk at the time of the crash and had "minor injuries." At 6:11am, Trooper Josh Evans called into a dispatcher, who asks: "You working the one with Tiger Woods? ... Is he OK?" But even though he had not seen Tiger, the said the golfer was all right.
This officer's account contradicts previous reports.
