Man Denied Racist Obama Tattoo Firebombed Tattoo Parlor

Monterey County prosecutors say Nathan Augustine, 36, of Pacific Grove pleaded no contest to arson Wednesday after allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail at a tattoo parlor because employees refused to tattoo him with a swastika and an image of President Barack Obama overlaid with cross hairs.

At the scene of the fire, investigators found vodka bottles converted into incendiary devices bearing the words "Russian Standard," a swastika, and a symbol similar to the British Union Jack with added diagonal lines through it in red ink handwriting.

He also pleaded no contest to torching a Pacific Grove, Calif. restaurant on July 15, 2009 after he was turned down on a job application.

Nathan faces seven years in prison when he is sentenced March 12.
