A 36-year-old woman from Tennessee has been accused of stealing 500 rolls toilet paper from Blount Memorial Hospital over the course of several months late last year, reports the Maryville Daily Times.
Melissa Patty admitted to security staff at the hospital that she took the toilet paper, worth $213, in October 2009. The hospital agreed to give Melissa four months to repay the hospital, but has not done so.
Now the hospital plans to take out a criminal summons against her.
