What's That Smell? This Man!

A Gloucester, Mass. man is in jail after running down another man with his car after an argument over body odor.

No. Seriously.

Alfred Needham, 50, was driving with Loretta McNeely, 50, they got in an argument over who had the worst body odor, according to the Gloucester Times.

McNeely told police that Needham picked her up at her Prospect Street home to go for a ride. While in the car, McNeely told police the two began arguing over who had worse body odor when Needham punched her. McNeely admitted to striking Needham as well and told police he drove her back to Prospect Street where the two got out of the car and continued to fight one another. According to police reports, when McNeely screamed for help, her boyfriend came out of their apartment and ran after Needham as he was attempting to drive away. Police say the victim grabbed Needham's windshield wiper blade when he accelerated and knocked the victim to the ground.

Alfred (pictured) was later caught and charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and leaving the scene of an accident. Now that he's behind bars, he can wash some of stench off.
