Congratulations! It's Your 130th Birthday!

Deep in the mountains of Eastern Europe lives Antisa Khvichava who, according to officials in the former Soviet republic of Georgia, was born on July 8, 1880. Which would make her 130 years old today and the oldest living person on the planet.

"I've always been healthy, and I've worked all my life — at home and at the farm," Antisa says, whose age can't be independently verified, because she lost her birth certificate.

The Gerontology Research Group currently recognises 114-year-old Eugenie Blanchard of Saint Barthelemy, France, as the world's oldest person.

What's that smell?
