Jessica Hatcher of Jackson County, W.Va. is an awful person. She allowed her 5-year-old son to assault his disabled grandmother who just out of the hospital.
Sheriff's deputies say Jessica's mother, Alice Hatcher, who's wheelchair-bound, called 911 to report that her grandson had been beating her on Saturday morning and that her daughter refused to make him stop. She said the boy hit her with several items including a mop, a cane and an aerosol can. She also told police that her grandson spit on her and "he then stood overtop of her and urinated onto her backside." As Alice struggled in her wheelchair to get outside, the boy followed her, hitting her with a mop. While trying to get to her car to lock herself in, he struck her and she fell to the ground.
While all of this was going on, Jessica sat on the sofa and watched TV.
She was arrested and charged with child neglect and incapacitated adult abuse.
