Brian Christopher, a 49-year-old homeless Navy veteran who found a wallet with $172 inside lying on a Boston street turned it into police -- even though he could have used the cash to buy Christmas gifts for his children. Brian said the wallet's owner called to thank him. No word as to whether the owner offered him a reward, but this man should be commended for his honesty. We tip our hat to you, Brian.
In related news: A few weeks ago, Dave Tally, another homeless man found $3,300 in cash in an abandoned backpack and returned it. (The money belonged to a college student who lost the money while on his way to buy a used car.) Since the story broke this week, he's received more than $8,000 from people moved by his selflessness. Some have even offered him a job.
See folks. When you do good. Good things happen to you in return.
