Charsign Raymond was visiting a friend's apartment just west of downtown Stone Mountain in Atlanta (how y'all doin') on Nov. 28 when he looked skyward and saw a mystery object streaking through the sky. Police say have no reports of a fireball hitting land. Two days earlier, a mystery blast rocket parts of the city. When police went to investigate, they found nothing. Authorities there later guessed that the noise had been a sonic boom, but the Federal Aviation Administration said there were no commercial aircraft fast enough to produce such a noise, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. An agency spokeswoman said that, as far as the FAA knew, military aircraft that could produce a sonic boom were not flying over the area. A resident told the newspaper, it was a meteor about 10 times larger than any she'd ever seen. What the hell is going on? Perhaps, crazy Colleen Thomas can explain this one. We hope so.
