Registered sex offender and former NY Giants linebacker Lawrence Taylor was back in a New York court today. This time, the mother of his 12-year-old daughter is petitioning the court to order Lawrence to pay more than $456 a week in child support for the child who suffers from Crohn’s disease — a chronic inflammatory disease of the intestines. The mother, Ebony Washington, says she needs additional monies to provide the girl with proper care. During testimony today, an accountant revealed that Lawrence has amassed a fortune of $1.6 million and made $146,000 last year. Conversely, Ebony makes $29,000 a year. Lawrence is crying poor. On his way out of the courtroom, he made the greasiest thing we've heard said about a defense attorney: “Do you think if I had that kind of money that I would have this guy represent me?” The judge is expected to make a final decision on Wednesday.
