Third-Grader to Teacher: 'This is Some of My Mom's Weed'

Police and the Florida Department of Children and Families want to talk to the mother of an 8-year-old girl who brought marijuana to school on Tuesday. The third grader, who attends Lincoln Park Elementary School in Pensacola, Florida, took the drug out of her jacket pocket and told her teacher, “This is some of my mom’s weed. It’s what my mother puts in blunts.” When cops went to the address that's on file, the student's grandmother said the girl's mother didn’t live there, and she didn’t know where she was currently living.
