A wealthy Seattle couple has been accused in a lawsuit of cheating the government out of more than $100,000 in welfare funds. Federal prosecutors say against Lyudmila Shimonova and David Silverstein were living in $1.2 million lakefront home all while receiving more than $1,200 a month in public housing vouchers, money from a federal program for destitute disabled people and food stamps. To obtain the welfare cash, the couple pretended they were not married and that Lyudmila was renting the residence from David, who's actually a chiropractor. The government has sued the couple seeking full repayment and has asked that both be fined $11,000 for each false claim they made to the government.

Brooke Fantelli, 43, of Romano, San Diego, was Tasered in the crotch by the Bureau of Land Management after they learned she was born a man. She tells a local Tv station: "He actually looked me straight in the eye and says, 'You used to be a guy,' and I said, 'Yes, I did.' There was no way around it. I could see it in his eyes. He wanted to tase me. I wasn't giving him any problem. He's got another officer there with him. All he had to do was put the handcuffs on." As the video shows, Brooke had her hand up and did not appear to be resisting arrest, but she was tackled and Tasered and charged with public intoxication. She's planning to sue the BLM, which says the rangers did nothing wrong.
