Former WNBA baller and Olympic gold medalist Chamique Holdsclaw, 35, was arrested Thursday night on charges of assault of her ex-girlfriend. According to police, 29-year-old Jennifer Lacy says she was working out at a church in Atlanta on Tuesday when Chamique -- who suffers from depression and attempted suicide in 2006 -- approached her and said she wanted to put some items in her car. She declined and drove to a friend's house, all the while Chamique followedher. Chamique got out of her car with a baseball bat and began smashing the windows in Jennifer's Range Rover then fired inside a bullet SUV and fled the scene. She was charged with aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and reckless conduct. She remains jailed on $10,000 bond.
Update, Nov. 16: At a hearing this morning, the judge went in on Chamique, saying she's a threat to the community. He eventually granted her a $100,000 bond, ordered her to wear an ankle monitor, and to stay away from Jennifer -- or she'll be charged with stalking and re-arrested.
