Lavelldo Washington, 34, and Corneisha Wilkerson, 23, of Nashville, Tennessee, are charged with aggravated child abuse and child neglect for routinely putting their 5-year-old child in an oven as a form of punishment. According to police, they began investigating the couple when their 2-month-old child was treated at a local hospital for a broken leg. Investigators soon discovered that Lavelldo was placing their 5-year-old in the oven. It's unclear if the oven was turned on when the child was inside. They also learned, Lavelldo has been arrested 29 times and is a registered sex offender.
