Lady Leads Cops on High-Speed Chase in Virginia

A woman led Fairfax County police on a high-speed chase Tuesday morning through the streets of Fairfax County, Virginia. The madness began around 7:40 a.m. when an officer attempted a traffic stop of a pickup truck near Route 50 and Fairview Park. The driver, identified as 36-year-old Lakisha Tracy, then sped off and was arrested after her truck was clipped by police officers and eventually surrounded. Aerial footage shows the silver pick-up truck speeding past other vehicles and driving onto the median. At one point, the truck spins into oncoming traffic. Police officers with guns drawn eventually surround the truck and pull Lakisha from it, placing her on the ground. As it turns out Lakisha fled because she had outstanding warrants for credit card theft, forgery and other driving related offenses. Lakisha was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. Two Fairfax County officers and one Virginia State Police officer suffered minor injuries as well.
