NFLer Erik Walden's Baby Mama Breaks Into His Home, Stabs Him With Knife, Beats Girlfriend With Baseball Bat
The mother of Indianapolis Colts linebacker Erik Walden's two children was arrested in Atlanta after she stabbed him with a knife and beat his girlfriend with a bat. According to police, Erica Tonezze Palmer (with her two children in the car), drove from Tennessee to Atlanta (which is more than 200 miles away and a 4-hour drive) late Saturday and broke into Erik's home. When he arrived home with his current girlfriend, Gloria Smith, they found Erica sitting on the sofa with Erik's gun and a baseball bat (and knife) she purchased at a Walmart in Atlanta. She struck Gloria with the bat, breaking her arm. Erica fled the scene and hid in the woods after Erik called police. As soon as the officer left, Erica reemerged and stabbed Erik in his arm with a knife. She fled and returned Sunday morning. She was eventually arrested at a nearby hotel. She is charged with 3 counts of aggravated assault, burglary and theft by taking.
Sidebar: In 2011, Erik was arrested after Erica said he assaulted her. She charges were eventually dropped and Erik agreed to go to counseling and did community service.
