'DL Hughley Breaks The News' CANCELED

This is really sad news. Although everyone hated "DL Hughley Breaks the News”, we were viewers of the weekend program airing on CNN. (Wendy hated the show and she dissed it and Dl on-air while DL was in a car on his way to the station for an interview with her. Suffice it to say, he didn't show up.)

But, alas, the haters got their way: the show has been canceled.

But to have CNN tell it, the show was not canned because of budget cuts or poor ratings as reported, but because DL wanted to spend more time with his family in Los Angeles.

The network's official statement goes something like this:

"D.L. approached CNN about being permanently based in Los Angeles, where his family lives. To accommodate this, we agreed upon a new role where he will be a contributor for the network based in Los Angeles. We are eager to continue our relationship with D.L., who is a tremendous talent and a valued colleague."

Good luck, DL. For what it's worth, we enjoyed your program.
