The Mo'Nique Radio Show Canceled

Well, to hear Mo'Nique tell it, she's leaving her radio show on Wednesday to focus on her "career in television, film and comedy."

But, Syndication One, which distributes "The Mo'Nique Show", says it was canceled after eight months.

According to RadioSyndication Talk: "Details are still coming in but the handwriting was on the wall when after a much heralded debut on KDAY Los Angeles, the show was removed after just four months due to a format shift. The same senario happened in Philadelphia in January leaving the show with less than seven affiliates. Arbitron’s PPM methodology has not been kind to talk heavy personalitiess on Urban music stations, particularly those outside of morning drive leaving new shows like Mo’Nique less time to develop and in a precarious situation."

Which is why you hear more and more music on The Experience.
