Mariah Does the Cannes Cannes

Mariah Carey - who is looking curvaceous that ever - was in Cannes last weekend to promote her much talked about film, Precious.

While she did look gorgouix, there was some drama which we haven't been able to get to the bottom of.

Some say Precious direct Lee Daniels was more than hour late for his own screening, which caused Mariah to sit in her hotel suite and wait.

Other reports say Martin Scorsese's press presentation for his new film(The Red Shoes) ran longer than expected, and that's what kept Mariah waiting on the red carpet.

Eventually Mariah and the rest of the Precious cast was able to get their time to present the film to the audience.

"Je suis fatiguee, (I'm very tired.) I've had too much champagne, so I'm not able to give the speech I spent three weeks preparing. I say this movie was made with love, bubble gum, popsicle sticks, everyone on this stage, and grace," Lee told the guests.
