Michael Jackson Does Not Have Skin Cancer
Michael Jackson's spokesperson has slammed reports the singer is battling skin cancer, insisting the singer is "in the best of health".
The Sun claimed on Saturday the 50-year-old was recently diagnosed after doctors spotted signs of cancer on his neck and pre-cancerous cells on his face.
A source told the publication, "Michael's test showed spots of skin cancer on his body, and cells which could turn to skin cancer on his face. He was at first very concerned, but says he has been assured by the doctors that they can treat this and he will recover."
The report went on to suggest Jackson would be fit to perform his upcoming comeback concerts in London, which begin in July.
But Jackson's spokesperson Dr Tohme Tohme (yes, that is his real name) insists the report is "not true".
Dr. Tohme tells the Daily News, "He is great. He's in perfect health ... he doesn't have any diseases whatsoever. He is in the best of health."
And a spokesperson for AEG, which is overseeing Michael's shows, adds: "The concerts are going to be absolutely amazing. We have no doubts over Michael's health."
