It's official: After weeks of "contract negotiations" American Idol has severed ties with Paula Abdul. But, to let her tell it, she decided to leave the show. Execs over at Fox probably didn't want to pay her $20 million (or was it $12 million?) for the season and negotiations broke down. Whatever the case, Paula's unique brand of crazy will be missed.
Here's what she tweeted last night.
But! Wait! Blogger Bonnie Fuller says Paula is lying and this is all a publicity stunt. Bonnie says Paula has already signed a new contract which will keep her on Idol.
