Kandi Burruss' Engagement May Be Off

On last week's season premier of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" Kandi Burruss flaunted her fiance AJ -- you know the one with the six children and her mother doesn't approve of.

Now, in an interview with E!, it seems like that engagement may be over. Kaput. Done.

E!: Will we see your wedding on camera?
No, uh-uh, it didn't get that far. You will see us trying to plan, but you will see a lot of the problems and the different issues that are going on.

Have you set a date?
We haven't set a date, and I'm just going to be real with you: We have been having serious issues. My drama has been ongoing since the taping has stopped. We just got engaged right before the taping of the show. So things that I would have to deal with or things I would have to learn about, I had to learn about and deal with it while the cameras were there, which makes things even more tense, you know what I mean?

Of course, but are you still together?
Um, we are dealing with things, but that's about as far as I can go.

Now let's talk about NeNe. She told me she thinks you don't like her because Kim got in your ear and was badmouthing her to you. Is that true?
That is so not true. The thing about it is I was a fan of NeNe's last year watching the show. But once I got to know her, things changed. I still think she is a cool person and fun to be around, but some of the things that come out of her mouth is crazy and how she talks to people is crazy to me…It wasn't even about what she said, but how she was talking to me. It was how she tried to loud-talk people and be rolling her neck and putting her hand all up there. That can't happen with me!

Do you think Kim has what it takes to make it as a singer?
[Laughs] There are lots of artists that are not necessarily great singers but still have great music or great songs. So it's all about who you get to work with you.

Well, that's a very good answer, Kandi.
It's the truth. I don't want to name them, but there are people I know who have hits, but they are not necessarily the best singers…I don't want to give things away, but I think that people will be shocked with [Kim's] end results.


You know we hate to gossip, but Kandi does have a very [clears through] interesting past with men.
