Egyptologist Calls Beyoncè 'Stupid' + Listen to 'Videophone' Remix Feat. Gaga, 'Telephone' Feat. Beyoncè

Beyoncè was in Egypt recently and one of the country's chief Egyptologist, Zahi Hawass reportedly called her a "stupid person."
Reporter Summer al-Gamal says Hawass, who claims he inspired Harrison Ford’s Raiders of The Lost Ark character, was annoyed by the pop star’s apparent lack of interest as she toured the ancient site.

According to Gamal, Hawass said, “I showed her the Sphinx and I gave her a book on King Tutankhamen,” during his self-guided tour.

The reporter says, “Then he stopped being diplomatic and said in anger, ‘She’s a stupid person and she doesn’t understand a thing and she doesn’t want to understand… She’s coming here to take pictures and that’s it.’”
Maybe Mrs Carter should stay clear of cultural institutions whilst overseas. Remember the debacle at a museum in Austria?

Sidebar: Here's the "Videophone" remix featuring Lady Gaga. Although MTV promised a video several weeks ago, the video won't premiere until Nov. 17.

Beyoncè returns the favor and is featured on Lady Gaga's new single, "Telephone."

Check out their other collabo, "Cordless Phone."

And even more Beyoncè news: According to spies, while in England this week, she booked a separate hotel room --- for her luggage. It took four porters to bring the seven suitcases, three hand luggage bags and two boxes to the room. "In the cases there were apparently 14 dresses, lots of shoes, make-up and 25 wigs."
