A Florida man was arrested Wednesday after calling 911 to have phone sex with the operator. Well, he really wanted to call a phone sex line or someone else, but he was fresh out of minutes on his cell phone so he opted to call 911 several times instead, because it's a free call.
As you'll hear, 29-year-old Joshua Basso asked one operator about her body before asking if he could come over to her house and have sex with her. She played along, asking for his address so she can visit him. He made the calls while in the shower pleasuring himself. He was still in the bathroom when cops showed up.
After his arrest, he told police he "did not think he would get into trouble for calling 911" because he has "made obscene calls to 911 in the past, but he has never been caught because he uses a false name and address when calling."
He has been charged with making a false 911 call. He's still in jail, despite his bail set at $500. Then again, if he can't afford to add minutes to his cell phone, where is he gonna find $500? Or is it $50? Since you usually only have to fork over 10% of your bail amount before you're released.
